From Visitor Center to Visitor Center

Sally is hanging in there, a little dirty but still with us (there have been some close calls).

Driving over the Gulf of Mexico...of course we went in at Biloxi Miss but it was all brown and looks like they
have not clean up all the oil from the BP spill.

Signs of Katrina driving through New Orleans

The famous Bourbon Street

Not really the place for your next family vacation...glad we were just driving through.

The Super Dome.

Friendly Texas...drive friendly at 80 mph, they do everything BIG here.

This is TEXAS, it goes on forever.   880 miles of forever.

Whataburger! Yeah, thats why there are none in California...It didn't really catch on, thumbs down on the fries!

Walt Disney World

We made it! No wifi right at our campsite and we were too lazy
and hot to take it over to the pool, so just a sampling of our pics from Disney World.
!
We rode our bikes most everywhere, to the buses and boats.  Each
evening they have a camp fire with Chip and Dale and a movie, John's
favorite.

We saw more deer at the campground than any state we visited.

Epcot

They had quite a production with singers and a play, John said it was great,
I think I slept through most of it.

The display cases were filled with aritfacts from inventors and early memorable americans.

We went by boat to Disney land and Hollywood Studios

Florida Gators

Yep we did an African Safari.

we saw more animals in 30 minutes than a day at the zoo.

Our next motorhome.

Very warm and extremely muggy....sticky, this was actually a kids attraction, John pretended to have some grand kids.

Of course we did find time to do a little golf, John really beat me good!

The World not so Famous Athen's Zoo

Oh yeah this is a much better green house than the one you bought a harbor freight.  I will take
a picture and you can build it when you get home, should be a snap.

What a beautiful State Georgia is.

This is the coolest Zoo, lots of animals doing stuff, just blocks from Megan's house.

real alligators.

triple size rat....

Dexter, the duck that thinks he is a person, usually he is at the office.

1 of the 3 black bears.

Well try doing the auto setting on your camera and then running to the
kodak moment and finding the cut out being a little out of reach.

This is better, cute bears.

our little picnic in front of the lake.  Very cool park.

Megan's house mates...Cate, Hannah, Catlin  and Sally, oh she doesn't
live there, thats Julia's friend.  Megan invited 3 of her other friends and
they had a BBQ for us!  Dad BBQ ued and I made salads, so nice to
cook in a full size kitchen.  Delightful girls and it is nice to know Megan
is so well loved and living in a safe place.

Smoky Mountains National Park

It's funny how people here think this is a high elevation...I think Mt Laguna is 4500 ft.

Resting, we chose the all up hill part, the other 2147 miles should be a breeze.

which way..ok lets take the short cut.

Hiking the AT...thats Appalachian Trail for you westerners.

Clayton 27 miles...after a 50 mile wrong turn while the navigator was looking at the back side of her eyelids.

We made it, home sweet home....Megan's

any mail Sally?  Mr fix it to work, already changing light bulbs.

The best campground yet, flat, scenic and free!

Go Bulldawgs.   UGA trounced Vanderbuilt 48 to 3 something like that.

There are a lot of folks at this game, somewhere around 100,000, whew doggies.
Only Graduates can walk under the arches, all others must go around.

Graduate Assistants, keys to the building and everything.

...and her own corner, Megan has made the Big Time.

These would be our seats, well not actually seats, you see we didn't have
a ticket, but you could see just fine from the railing.

University of Georgia is Green, good to know!
